Falmouth Youth Soccer Association (“Travel Soccer”) registration is now CLOSED!
Registration for Falmouth Youth Soccer Association (“Travel Soccer”) was open from April 1-30, 2016 and is now closed. Please note that ALL our players must reside in Falmouth per SoccerMaine rules. They may attend a school that is not part of the Falmouth public schools but they must live in Falmouth. Since registration is now CLOSED, the coaching committee has begun creating teams and some age groups are at capacity. If you missed the deadline but your child is interested in playing this fall, please email our register (Melissa Wiley) immediately with your child’s date of birth and grade for the fall so she can check on team availability.
The registration fee is $150 if completed between April 1 and 15. Please follow the directions below and the following link to complete the process. If you are a returning FYSA player, our registrar has emailed your username and password for you to use and register your child. Please store your username and password in a safe place in case you need to update any of your information throughout the year.
For simplicity, this year there is only one link to register your player. This will allow us to correctly collect all your child’s information such as school grade for FALL 2016 and T-shirt size. Returning players: Use lower box on the right (Individual Users-EXISTING Account). New players: Use lower box on left (Individual Users-NEW Account). Please DO NOT create a “Family Registration”- this creates more passwords and usernames for you to track and GotSoccer is phasing this feature out shortly.
While registering your player(s), please update any outdated personal information, such as new email, cell phone or emergency information. Most communication from FYSA is via the email that you have listed on your player profile at the GotSoccer site, so please make sure your email is correct.
Finally, LATE registration for FYSA will be from April 16th to 30th, and the price increases to $175! Avoid the late fee!
FYSA uses an online ordering system hosted by Atlantic Sportswear. The webstore will be available from April 1st until June 26th through the link below.
ALL NEW FYSA PLAYERS MUST GO ONLINE AND ORDER THE 4 REQUIRED NEW UNIFORM ITEMS: Uniform top (aka jersey), shorts, socks*, as well as an Under Armour Locker Tee in our newly designed kit. *Useful tip: Although not required, many players tend to order two pairs of socks to have an extra dry pair for games and tournaments. Returning players need only purchased replacement items, out-grown items or optional items.
On Atlantic’s webstore, you can also order OPTIONAL ITEMS such as warm up jacket and pants, soccer backpack, windbreaker jacket and a training top. If you would like any of the optional items, please order them at the same time as your required uniform top, shorts, socks and T-shirt.
All uniforms will be shipped directly to your house by August 1 and therefore everyone will be charged a nominal shipping and handling fee by Atlantic Sportswear. ORDER ALL uniform items that you need for the fall season as soon as possible. All orders placed after June 26th will be considered “Special Orders”. The cost of the uniform increases and item availability is not guaranteed. If orders are not placed on time, we cannot guarantee your child will have a uniform in time for the start of the season which could jeopardize their ability to play. Please remember to size up as needed for your player since soccer season is still several months away.
PLEASE ORDER YOUR UNIFORM NOW at the link below so that your child is guaranteed a uniform for the fall travel soccer season!
Any child who is 8 years old (by July 31st) or turns 8 before October 15th and is entering 3rd grade in the fall is eligible to play. AGE DESIGNATION CHART
If your child is new to FYSA, you will need to mail a copy of your child’s birth certificate to: FYSA, Registrar- Melissa Wiley, P.O. Box 66844, Falmouth, ME 04105
